Terms and Conditions

  1. The promoter: The promoter is Baptist Student Hostel, whose registered office is at 163 Fitzherbert Ave, Palmerston North.
  2. Eligibility: High school aged attendees of the 2026 Palmerston North, Napier, Wellington, and Taranaki Careers Expo only.
  3. Entry requirements: There is no entry fee to participate in the competition. To enter, participants must visit the BSH Student Accommodation booth at the Expo event and submit their contact details.
  4. Competition period: The competition will run only the during the Careers Expos open times.
  5. Use of contact details: By entering the competition, participants consent to Baptist Student Hostel using their contact details to send them marketing and promotional emails.
  6. Selection of winner: A random number generator will be used to select a single winner at the end of each Careers Expo Event.
  7. Prize notification: The winner will be contacted by phone.
  8. Prize: The winner will receive a pair of Beats Solo 4 Wireless On-Ear Headphones Slate Blue
  9. Ownership of entries: All entries submitted become the property of Baptist Student Hostel upon submission.
  10. One submission per person: Participants are allowed to make only one submission for the competition. Multiple submissions the same person will result in disqualification.
  11. False information or violation of terms: If a participant is found to have provided false information or violated the terms and conditions of the competition, they will be removed from the qualifying list of submissions.
  12. Changes to competition and terms: Baptist Student Hostel reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice.
  13. Decision: Baptist Student Hostel’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  14. Photo of winner: Baptist Student Hostel will post the name and photo of the winner receiving the prize to their social media page. The winner may decline to have their posted online.
  15. Acceptance of terms: Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  16. Data protection and privacy: Any personal data relating to participants will be used in accordance with the applicable data protection laws. By entering the competition, participants consent to their contact information being shared with a third-party email service provider for the purpose of receiving promotional emails from Baptist Student Hostel.
  17. Social media disclaimer: This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram or any other Social Network. Participants are providing their information to Baptist Student Hostel only.
